Abstract

In today's world, the global approach towards the knowledge-based economy is well visible. One of the most successful new ideas in the field of innovation and national economy growth is the establishment of science and technology parks with the aim of developing technology, creating a suitable platform for the emergence and growth of technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship. In this article, the role of Iran's science and technology parks in economic growth has been investigated. In this regard, information collected from library studies and questionnaires have been used. Also, the efficiency of science and technology parks was calculated with a set of variables, and the effect of each variable in the model was obtained using two-level logistic regression. The investigations show that the two-level DEA-EBM model has provided a more realistic picture of the overall efficiency of science and technology parks.
