Modeling and Simulation under Matlab/Simulink of the Power Supply Chain of an Asynchronous Motor in Solar Photovoltaic Energy

Abstract
The objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance of a control system for an asynchronous motor fed by a GPV photovoltaic field, exploiting the grid connection technique based on a PLL feedback loop. Modelling and adapting our work to a given GPV photovoltaic system, we give an illustration on each element. We present the mathematical model of a GPV (photovoltaic generator), the DC-DC converter (chopper booster) and the DC-AC converter (inverter). The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) control principle is used to find the point at which the GPV power is delivered to the asynchronous motor. The system (PV generator, boost chopper, MPPT algorithm, inverter and induction motor) is then modelled and simulated in Matlab Simulink.
