H-infinity Controller Based on Power Management System to Develop for Standalone Hybrid System with Critical Load
Main Article Content
Abstract
Nowadays renewable energy sources (RES) are the most important for generating electricity naturally and freely. However, some challenges have arisen in generating electricity, such as voltage fluctuations and variations in voltage. This paper, based on the H∞ controller seeks to ensure robust performance under the worst feasible disturbances and variation to manage the hybrid system. So finally, the H∞ controller takes the power flow authority between the PV, battery, and critical load which concurrently provides MPPT operation for the PV. Linear controllers are incapable of achieving optimal performance when applied to nonlinear systems because they are designed under the assumption that the system's dynamics remain constant and linear. The proposed method is validated by using MATLAB/simulation, including battery charging and discharging with various levels of solar irradiation
