Transient Analysis of a Queueing System with Feedback, Catastrophes and State-Dependent Environmental Change Parameter
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presents atransient analysis of a finite capacity queueing system with feedback, catastrophes and state-dependent environmental change parameter. The Poisson rate at which the system moves from environmental changing state F to E increases or decreases as the number of customers in the queue. Also, at some random times, the number of customers is immediately reset to zero whenever a catastrophe occurs at the system. Transient solution is obtained by using the technique of probability generating function. The Steady state solution of the model is obtained by using the property of Laplace transform. Further we discussed several particular cases of the queueing modelwith and without feedback and catastrophes.
