Functional Safety need and applications in the Automotive Industry

Abstract

Automotive Industry in general going through a rapid and drastic changes where increase in demands for the mobility is high. With increasing demands thousands of cars are get added to the road on annual basis. With growing cars on the road accidents and death are increasing due to accidents. This Paper focus on analysis the road safety data and identifying the problem area which can be worked upon to solve the decrease the fatalities. The paper would focus on creating a literature survey for further research on functional safety needs in the Automotive applications.
